As the title suggests, Mark Caguioa is set to reclaim his position, role and glory in the Barangay Ginebra, and that is to be the number one offensive option again. The long, no, the very long wait for the 3-time PBA Scoring Champion is over. Last night, he was instrumental for the opening game victory of the Kings against their rival Talk N’ Text besides import Storey. Caguioa scored all of his 17 points in the second half after scoring just 2 points in the first half due to early foul trouble. He also dished out few assists that includes a crucial play down the stretch to put the the Texters at bay. He was chosen the best player of the game and crossed his fingers during the post game interview not to be injured again in order for him to regain his superstar status that was put on hold, perhaps temporarily.
