The adiZero Rose 1.5: Ruling the Court on St. Patrick’s Day

Even someone as talented as Rose need luck, and with the adidas company going out of their way to design these to-die-for sneakers: the adiZero Rose 1.5, luck is definitely on his side.

March 17 is only just a few days away, and Derrick Rose will wear these special colorways of his adidas signature shoes in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. This holiday is known for the color green and all things Irish. It’s a day where big cities and small towns alike celebrate with parades, music and songs, Irish food and drinks. The special St. Patrick’s Day markings make this Derrick Rose’s ultimate lucky charm. The tongue sports an intense green ‘Magic Eye’ graphic, inspired by Derrick’s “Poohdini” nickname, with a 4-leaf clover and Rose’s signature blended into the design. The clover is visible on the insole with the very date Derrick Rose was first drafted. His signature is also lasered into the heel.

adidas Originals launches a new holistic tech-lifestyle collection, the MEGA 2011. The new collection consists of fresh sneaker models featuring two of the most iconic adidas technologies amplified in modern street style – “Torsion” and “Soft Cell.” In its second season, MEGA will offer eight different models, both hi-top and lo-top versions, in a variety of colorways including styles for both men and women.
